Conflict of interest from authors
Authors must disclose any conflict of interest when submitting a manuscript. This may relate to financial aspects (fees, business involvement, patents) as well as non-financial factors (personal relationships, academic rivalry, ideological or religious beliefs). All conflict of interest must be clearly stated so that readers can assess whether they may have affected the authors' impartiality. A "Conflict of Interest" note will be published at the end of the article, and if none exists, "None" will be stated.

The editorial team is committed to responding promptly and constructively to all complaints. Each complaint will be considered according to its nature and complexity, and the editorial decision will be based on recommendations from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The appeal will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or another member of the Editorial Board who was not involved in the initial decision. If necessary, a re-review will be initiated with the involvement of an independent expert. The appeal will be considered within 30 calendar days. After the review, the author will receive a written response with the final decision from the editorial team.
Finality of the decision
The decision made after the appeal review is final and is not subject to further appeal.
The journal intends to answer and solve all complaints promptly and in a constructive manner. The Editorial Team and the staff of "University Economic Bulletin" will study the particular case of the complaint in accordance with its nature and complexity and any decision reached will take into consideration the recommendations provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Complaints beyond the journal’s capabilities like personal complaints against authors, editors, reviewers or the journal’s editorial board shall receive an answer that indicates the reasons why the complaint has been regarded as beyond the journal’s responsibility. In addition, the journal will refrain from undertaking the pertinent inquiry when complaints are addressed in an offensive, threatening or defamatory manner.
The editorial board of the journal "University Economic Bulletin" recognises the right of authors to appeal against editorial decisions and strives to ensure a transparent, impartial and fair process of reviewing scientific materials. The subject of the appeal may be, in particular:
- a decision to refuse to publish;
- a requirement for significant revision of the manuscript, which the author considers unjustified;
- suspicion of bias or prejudice in the review process;
- other actions of the editorial board that, in the author's opinion, contradict the principles of academic ethics.
The procedure for filing an appeal
An appeal should be submitted in writing to the official email address of the editorial office: info@bulletin-chstu.com.ua within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the notification of the editorial decision.
The appeal should contain:
- the title of the submitted manuscript;
- a clear and reasoned statement of the reasons for the appeal;
- additional documents or materials supporting the author's position (if any).
Consideration of the appeal
The appeal is considered by the editor-in-chief or an authorised member of the editorial board who did not participate in the initial decision. If necessary, a second review may be initiated with the involvement of an independent expert.
The appeal is considered within 30 calendar days from the date of its receipt. Upon completion of the review, the author is sent a reasoned written response indicating the final decision of the Editorial Board.
Final decision
The decision made as a result of the appeal consideration is final and cannot be appealed again.
