Анотація
Стаття присвячена аналізу тенденцій розвитку, виявленню проблем та розробці рекомендацій щодо розвитку соціального підприємництва в Латвії. Предметом дослідження є теоретичні та практичні аспекти функціонування соціальних підприємств у контексті сучасних тенденцій розвитку соціального підприємництва в Латвії. Мета дослідження: на основі аналізу діяльності соціальних підприємств Латвії виявити чинники та проблеми функціонування соціальних підприємств у Латвії, а також оцінити можливості розвитку соціального підприємництва в Латвії в сучасних умовах. Методи дослідження: контент-аналіз, історичний, аналітичний, порівняльний, табличний, графічний. Результати дослідження: розглянуто історичні передумови виникнення феномену соціального підприємництва у світі. На основі аналізу розвитку соціального підприємництва в Європі проведено аналіз та визначено тенденції розвитку соціального підприємництва в Латвії в секторальному та регіональному контекстах. Досліджено інституційне середовище та нормативно-правову базу, що регулюють розвиток соціальних підприємств у Латвії. Проведено аналіз основних факторів соціально-економічного розвитку країни, які мають безпосередній вплив на розвиток соціального підприємництва. Описано можливості та переваги розвитку соціальних підприємств у Латвії. Виявлено проблеми та розроблено рекомендації щодо подальшого розвитку соціального підприємництва в Латвії. Практичне застосування результатів дослідження: висновки та результати можуть бути використані в роботі соціальних підприємств різних сфер діяльності, в роботі асоціацій соціального підприємництва та інших неурядових організацій, органів влади, а також у навчальному процесі вищих навчальних закладів, що спеціалізуються на економіці та соціальному забезпеченні
